Stereophonics have cancelled their upcoming shows in Australia and Dubai after frontman Kelly Jones suffered a displaced jaw joint. The band was scheduled to perform five dates in Australia starting October 18 in Brisbane, followed by a show at Dubai's Coca Cola Arena on October 29.
In a statement on social media, Jones expressed his disappointment, noting that doctors advised against long-distance travel. He is currently undergoing physiotherapy to heal the injured joint. 'I am gutted, saddened and disappointed to inform you all, that due to a displaced jaw joint... the upcoming Australia and Dubai shows are cancelled,' he wrote.
Jones reassured fans that the UK tour in December remains unaffected. The tour begins on December 4 in Nottingham and concludes at The O2 in London on December 18, with dates in Glasgow, Manchester, and Birmingham. Refunds for the cancelled shows will be issued at the point of purchase within 21 days.
The band released their 13th studio album, 'Make ‘em Laugh, Make ‘em Cry, Make ‘em Wait', in April, which debuted at number one on the Official Albums Chart, marking their ninth chart-topping record.
