Rag'n'Bone Man, real name Rory Graham, has been hospitalised in Lithuania after cancelling a gig at the last minute. The 40-year-old BRIT Award winner was due to perform in Kaunas on Tuesday but pulled out due to illness, as announced by his team on Instagram.
The singer shared a series of images from a hospital bed in Kaunas, showing him topless and connected to wires, with a thumbs down in one shot. He captioned the post: 'Being stuck in hospital in Lithuania was not on my list of shit to do before you die! Anyone watching anything good? I’ve got lots of time to kill. Sorry to anyone that had tickets to my shows. Trust me I’d rather be on stage!'
His team earlier stated: 'We're deeply sorry to let you know that today's concert in Kaunas has been cancelled as Rag'n'Bone Man has unfortunately fallen ill.' They added the singer was 'seeking medical care' and understood fans may have travelled or made special plans.
Fans and celebrities sent well wishes, including DJ Premier and England rugby player Ellis Genge. The cancellation came after a string of European festival appearances, including Positivus in Latvia, where he described the show as an 'insane night'.
Ticket refunds are available from the point of purchase, and the team plans to reschedule the Lithuania show as soon as possible.
