Oasis fans who missed out on tickets to the band's 2027 tour have been told not to panic, as several options may still be available in the coming months even for those who did not receive a code for this weekend's sale.
Tickets for next year's shows went on sale over the weekend, with fans required to register interest in advance. Only those successful through the system could attempt to secure tickets for the UK shows between Friday and Sunday. The special ballot system gave fans a unique code that allowed entry to one of nine sale windows on Ticketmaster across the three days. Oasis shared a post on social media on Sunday evening (September 27) confirming that tickets had sold out for all 42 dates.
Resale tickets and production holds
Popular X user @macainconcerts posted: “SOLD OUT” BUT REALLY… IS IT? I don’t care what Liam says. There are several things that can happen between now and summer 2027 that could put more tickets back on sale.” They reminded fans that Ticketmaster will list a number of resale tickets on its site in the coming months. Ahead of the sale, the platform claimed fans would be able to get tickets via its site, and on Twickets in the UK, and they could only be sold at face value.
Ticketmaster has not yet said when resale tickets will be made available on its site, but said that 'ticket transfer and resale will be available by December 31st, 2026'. Ticketmaster has been approached by the Manchester Evening News for more information on this.
Production tickets and VIP conversions
Fans will also be able to try and buy a number of production tickets, which might be released closer to the date of each show. These tickets are usually held back until production requirements are finalised, but the allocation usually tends to be limited and will vary per venue.
In addition, any unsold VIP or hospitality packages may be converted to standard tickets at a later date. @macainconcerts said: “If those packages don't sell, some of those tickets could potentially be released as regular tickets. This has happened with other huge tours before.”
Warning against unofficial resale
Over the weekend, a number of resale websites outside of Ticketmaster began listing tickets to the Oasis shows, including their 11 dates at the Etihad Stadium, online. Some of these were priced at up to £3,000 each. Ticketmaster has advised fans not to buy resale tickets outside of its platform as the outlet has said these could be cancelled, even if they were legitimately bought. Viagogo has said it opposes ‘anti-competitive actions taken by event organisers to restrict purchasing and resale options to certain platforms’, and that tickets bought on its site are ‘protected by our guarantee’, which can sometimes include replacement tickets or money back.
In their thread on X, @macainconcerts advised fans to not panic as the first Oasis 2027 gigs are not set to begin until towards the end of May. They wrote: “And finally: BE PATIENT. People bought these tickets almost a year before the concerts. A LOT can happen between now and summer 2027. People will change plans. People will get better tickets. People won't be able to attend. I KNOW. “Just be patient” is easier said than done when you're dealing with Oasis FOMO, But please don't panic and spend a ridiculous amount of money on a ticket because you're scared this is your only chance.”
They added: "If you didn't get a ticket today: Breathe. Don't panic-buy. Don't send money to strangers. Keep checking official channels. Watch for production releases + official resale."
