Oasis are officially returning to the stage again next year, with Liam and Noel Gallagher confirmed to perform together for the Oasis 2027 tour. This marks their first major dates since their comeback tour in 2025.
First formed in 1991, Oasis are one of the biggest bands in the country and have released hit singles including Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger and Little By Little. To date, it is estimated the band have sold over 100 million records worldwide.
Tour dates and ticket details
Beginning at Glasgow's Celtic Park on May 1, next year's tour will feature more than 40 dates across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the US, and will also include eleven shows in Manchester at the Etihad Stadium in June.
Tickets for all shows will be priced between £71.50 and £266.60, including fees, and fans were required to sign up for a special ballot system in order to try and gain a spot at the eagerly-awaited shows. The system was created to ensure a fair and smooth process for genuine fans.
Speculation over supporting line-up
Whilst Liam and Noel are confirmed to be taking to the stage, with Richard Ashcroft already confirmed as support for all dates, fans have since been speculating about who else could join them on the road for the 2027 tour.
Of course, it has not been confirmed yet who will be heading out on tour with the brothers, but one valuable member of the band most fans will be keen to see on the stage will be Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs. In the latest documentary film, the rhythm guitarist and Oasis co-founder was described by Noel as being a ‘massive part’ of the band and their sound, speaking fondly of reuniting with him on stage during the Live 2025 tour for the first time since 1997.
Bonehead was unable to complete the full 2025 run as he pulled out of shows in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney whilst he underwent cancer treatment. So, there would be plenty of unfinished business there should he wish to come back.
Returning members and drummers in question
Looking back at the line-up for the 2025 tour, guitarist Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell could also make a return to the group. Alongside Bonehead, the trio walked the red carpet in London for the Oasis documentary and were in jovial spirits for the release of the film.
Andy joined Oasis in 1999 and continued performing with the band until their split in 2009. He went on to play in Beady Eye with Liam. Meanwhile, Gem had joined Oasis in 2000 until their split in 2009 and also went on to take a role in Beady Eye for a little while, as well as in Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
Touring drummer Joey Waronker, who has performed with the likes of R.E.M and Roger Waters, joined Oasis for their Live '25 tour and went down well with fans for his ability to incorporate his sound into the band. He was also described as being 'special' by Liam at the time of the shows. Whilst Joey has yet to confirm whether he’d be interested in joining Oasis next year, he is currently performing with Dragonflies and has shows later this year with the British rock group.
On the topic of drummers, Zak Starkey, who was the drummer for Oasis from 2004 to 2008, was also largely speculated to take part in the 2025 tour but is also likely to miss out on the 2027 offering too following reports that he has rejoined The Who a year after being sacked.
Another speculated name could be drummer Chris Sharrock, who was part of Oasis for a year until their 2009 split, and also went to work on Beady Eye and High Flying Birds. He was rumoured not to have taken part in the 2025 reunion tour due to prior commitments with other bands and projects.
Some former Oasis band members who can potentially be thrown out of the mix are likely to include drummers Alan White and Tony McCarroll, as well as bassist Paul McGuigan, who have all kept a low-profile from the band since their original involvement.
