UK music icons N-Dubz look set to announce another gig in Newcastle after a series of cryptic posts appeared on social media on Thursday morning. The group, who sold out the Utilita Arena twice during their 2022 comeback tour, have sparked speculation of a return to the city.
Cryptic social media posts fuel speculation
A video was shared to the group's Instagram account, as well as those of members Tulisa and Fazer, showing a train pulling into a platform with N-Dubz written in graffiti on the side. The same clip was also posted by the Utilita Arena on its own Instagram grid, with the caption adding the words 'stray tuned...'
Fans reacted enthusiastically to the N-Dubz gigs in Newcastle in 2024, and if the trio do return, as is strongly hinted, demand for tickets is expected to be high.
History of success in Newcastle and beyond
N-Dubz were one of the biggest groups in the country from 2008 to 2012, with crossover hits like Ouch and Papa Can You Hear Me, followed by top 10 singles such as I Need You and Playing With Fire. After going their separate ways, Dappy and Tulisa each had number 1 hits with No Regrets and Young respectively.
The trio reunited with bandmate Fazer for a huge reunion tour, which saw them sell out multiple dates at the O2 Arena in London and add an extra show in Newcastle due to high ticket demand.
