2000s girlband Mis-Teeq are reportedly in discussions for a reunion, with a potential performance on Britain's Got Talent (BGT) on the table, according to sources. The trio, known for hits like Scandalous and All I Want, have not performed together since their split in 2005, but the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Lickin' On Both Sides, has sparked renewed talks.
A source told the Mirror that while there have been no official offers, 'nothing is off the table' and a one-off show, either an intimate gig or a television performance on BGT, is being considered. Alesha Dixon, who is a judge on BGT, has been 'excitedly talking' about a reunion, with a separate source adding that she would love for the reunion with Sabrina Washington and Su-Elise Nash to happen.
Relations between the members appear to have improved after a previous legal dispute. In 2018, Sabrina threatened to sue Alesha over unpaid royalties dating back 15 years, claiming Alesha had 'wrongfully claimed' writing credits. However, the source now says the dispute is 'water under the bridge', and Su-Elise recently confirmed that Sabrina is 'back in the fold' and that the three have a Mis-Teeq WhatsApp group where they 'talk about business'.
Despite the positive talks, a full-scale reunion tour like those of Girls Aloud or Spice Girls has been ruled out. The group have not been in a room together as a trio since 2005, and the source emphasised that 'there's a lot to discuss before they're in a place to do a reunion.' Alesha herself hinted at a reunion last year, saying they are 'thinking' about it, which is 'more than we've done'.
