Madonna's duet with Kylie Minogue, Love Sensation, has debuted at number eight on the Official Singles Chart, becoming her highest-charting UK song in 17 years.

Love Sensation is the second single from Madonna's latest album, Confessions II, and a remixed version released on August 6 features a duet with the Australian star. Madonna, whose last highest-charting single was Celebration in 2009, has extended her run as the female artist with the most top 10 singles in Official Chart history, with her latest track becoming her 65th UK top 10 single.
Only two artists in history boast more UK Top 10 singles: Elvis Presley with 76 and Cliff Richard with 68. Madonna's 65 Top 10 hits span four different decades: the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2020s.
Recent Chart Appearances
Madonna's last appearance in the top 10 came courtesy of The Weeknd and Playboi Carti collaboration Popular, which reached number 10 in February 2024.
Love Sensation is Minogue's 37th UK top 10 and follows her 2025 Official Christmas Number 1 XMAS, which became her eighth chart-topper overall and made her the first female artist to have UK number one singles across four different decades. Her top 10 run is even longer, spanning five consecutive decades, from the 1980s right through to the 2020s.

Meanwhile, on the albums chart, The Reytons have secured their second number one record with A Love Letter To A Broken Town. The Rotherham group's fifth studio LP has also taken the top spot on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, shifting the most copies over the past seven days.
