Police are searching for suspects after an Arsenal store in Highbury was broken into during a night-time raid. The shop, located near the Emirates Stadium, was cordoned off on Friday, with police cars and forensic services present.
Details of the Incident
Photographs show one door hanging off its hinges and another damaged on the ground. The Metropolitan Police believe the store on Drayton Park was targeted between 3.30am and 4.30am on Friday, 14 August.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish what was stolen. The force has urged witnesses or anyone with relevant doorbell or dashcam footage to come forward.
Police Response and Appeal
A Met spokesperson said: "The Met is investigating a theft at the Emirates Stadium shop, Drayton Park, which occurred in the early hours of Friday, 14 August."
"We understand the concern such incidents cause to retail workers and local communities. Although no arrests have been made at this stage, officers are working at pace to conduct forensic examinations and gather CCTV to identify and locate those responsible."
