Louis Tomlinson Vows to Refund Fans for Obstructed Concert Views

Louis Tomlinson has criticised the sale of restricted-view tickets at his concerts, promising refunds to fans who were unable to see him perform. The former One Direction star, 34, made the pledge during a show in Bologna, Italy, after learning that some attendees had been seated behind large screens, blocking their view of the stage.

“I just wanna say, these tickets behind the screens, that’s not right,” Tomlinson told the crowd. “That’s not right, send us an email, we’ll refund you. We shouldn’t be selling those tickets!” The singer, currently on the European leg of his How Did We Get There? tour, has long advocated for affordable live music, keeping his UK ticket prices between £39.40 and £84.40.

Fans have praised Tomlinson’s stance on social media, with one calling him “the true voice of the people” and another describing him as a “grassroots king.” The singer has previously spoken out against high ticket costs, telling Hunger Magazine that “people can’t be priced out of coming to music.” He added that he does not have to “chase profit quite as hard” as some artists.
