Leigh-Anne Pinnock, best known as a member of Little Mix, has claimed that Warner Records "ghosted" her during the production of her debut solo album. The singer described feeling "disposable" after the label stopped responding to her team.
Speaking about the track "Most Wanted", which features Jamaican artists Valiant and Rvssian, Pinnock said the label repeatedly asked for new versions, stripping the song of its essence. "They just kept making me do versions and it was taking the essence out of the song," she said. After a year without a single release, communication ceased entirely.
"I just don't understand how people can treat humans like that. Like this is my career, it's my life and you're just making me feel disposable," she added. The album, titled "My Ego Told Me To", was eventually released after Pinnock parted ways with Warner Records in 2025.
The singer's solo career follows Little Mix's indefinite hiatus, which began in 2022 after Jesy Nelson's departure. Pinnock, who rose to fame on The X Factor in 2011, has previously spoken about her confidence and determination to succeed in the industry.
