Molly-Mae Hague has spoken out against 'gentle parenting' after revealing that her two-year-old daughter Bambi has been biting other children at nursery. The influencer and former Love Island star shared her parenting struggles in a candid vlog on her YouTube channel, describing the situation as a 'biting pandemic'.
Hague, 26, who shares Bambi with partner Tommy Fury, said she felt 'embarrassed' by the behaviour. 'It's the complete opposite of what I want my child to be,' she told her subscribers. 'All I want her to be in this life is kind, gentle, caring, loving.' She noted that Bambi had also been bitten by another child previously.
The nursery reportedly took a 'gentle parenting' approach, telling Bambi that her mouth is 'for chewing and for eating her food', without imposing further discipline. Hague expressed frustration, saying: 'Is that really teaching? I think that she knows in the environment she's in she is not going to get told off.' She added that she had turned to ChatGPT for advice, as she was unsure whether to reward Bambi with ice cream or scold her.
