Celebrity stylist Law Roach has shared exclusive insights into working with some of the world's biggest stars, including Ariana Grande and Celine Dion. Speaking to the Mirror at the Cannes Film Festival, the 47-year-old fashion architect described Grande as 'deeply underestimated' in the fashion world.

Roach, who first collaborated with Grande during her My Everything era and reunited with her in late 2025 for the Wicked: For Good press tour, praised the singer's fashion sense. 'Ariana is incredible. I think she is deeply underestimated as a fashion mind,' he said. Grande stunned in archive and vintage gowns inspired by The Wizard of Oz during the tour.

Roach also spoke highly of Celine Dion, placing her in a unique category. 'Her commitment, her courage, the way she commands a room... She's one of the greatest performers who has ever lived,' he noted. He also praised actress Kerry Washington, who starred in Scandal, for bringing intelligence and intentionality to their conversations about fashion.

'Each of these people taught me something different about the relationship between image and identity,' Roach added.

Cannes and Personal Growth

Reflecting on the Cannes Film Festival, Roach described it as a magical place where cinema, fashion, art, and music collide. He was at the festival collaborating on a Magnum pop-up, following in the footsteps of Kylie Minogue and Peggy Gou.

Despite his glittering career, which includes styling Zendaya, Rihanna, and Anne Hathaway, Roach's current ambition is personal. 'I want to slow down long enough to really feel the life I've built,' he said. 'That's the bucket-list item nobody talks about: learning how to receive everything you've worked for.'

Roach served as Magnum's first 'Taste Architect' at Cannes, unveiling a fashion showcase for the House of Magnum campaign.
