Jamie Webster has confirmed he will headline On The Waterfront next summer, returning to Liverpool's Pier Head for the second time. The concerts run from June 17 to June 20 2027, with Webster playing the second night on Friday June 18, supported by fellow Liverpool musicians The Cheap Thrills.
Return to the Pier Head
Announcing the news on Instagram, Webster said: "Back underneath the birds at the Pier Head. Nearly 4 years on, me and the band are back on the waterfront. But this time you can bring the kids."
The Liverpool singer first played the festival in 2023, when he was joined on stage by acts including The Red Rum Club, The Coral, Brooke Combe and Michael Head & The Red Elastic Band.
Previous sold-out performance
His 2023 appearances took place on Thursday June 29 and Friday June 30, with the latter a sold-out show. Reflecting on the gigs in a post on X, he wrote: "I don't really know how to put Thursday and Friday into words, I'm sat here in a bit of a bubble still; I can't remember everything yet because I was in a place I've never been before on that stage on each of those nights."
He added: "I keep getting flashbacks of moments and I keep breaking into tears and smiles. To have an army of fans like you stand in front of me and share these moments with is something I don't think I'll ever be able to describe."
