Harry Styles has achieved the biggest sales week of his career with his fourth album, Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionally, selling over a million units globally and debuting at number one in charts worldwide. The album also marks the highest first-week sales for a male artist in nearly a decade.
In the UK, Styles scored a chart double with the album and his single “American Girls” both reaching number one. Week-one sales in the UK reached 183,000 copies, comfortably surpassing the 113,000 sold for his previous album, Harry’s House. The album also set a record for the highest first-week vinyl sales for any UK artist this century.
The Independent praised the album in a four-star review, noting its “newfound clarity and, more importantly, music that actually sounds like him”. Styles celebrated the release with a one-off show at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena, filmed exclusively for Netflix, and later pulled double duty as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live.
Styles will embark on a seven-city residency tour, including 30 shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden and a 12-night run at London’s Wembley Stadium. Special guests on select dates include Shania Twain, Robyn, Jorja Smith, and Jamie xx.
