Singer Halsey has shared a candid update on her health, revealing she is undergoing chemotherapy for a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder. In a TikTok video on Thursday, the 30-year-old artist showed medical tape on her collarbone and chest, saying, 'Just did another few sessions of chemo, had a new port placed.'
Halsey, who was diagnosed with lupus and the T-cell disorder in 2024, explained that she experiences significant fatigue after treatment. 'I also can't stand for like a week or more,' she wrote in the comments, adding that she recovers between sessions to muster energy for work and family life.
Beyond her health battle, Halsey announced an upcoming show titled 'Back to Badlands,' which will celebrate her 2015 debut album. She expressed excitement for rehearsals, noting the performance will include 'nostalgic little references' from her original tour.
The singer also touched on her personal life, revealing her engagement to actor Avan Jogia. She previously described meeting him while managing her illnesses, saying he has been a supportive partner who helps her accept her condition.
