Ed Sheeran Brisbane Concert Sound Problems Anger Fans

Ed Sheeran Brisbane Concert Sound Woes Leave Fans Fuming on Social Media

Concertgoers attending Ed Sheeran's recent performance in Brisbane have expressed significant frustration after experiencing severe sound quality issues that marred the event. The complaints, which have gained traction on TikTok, centre on poor audio in restricted view seating areas at Suncorp Stadium over the weekend.

TikToker Details Negative Experience with Restricted View Tickets

One fan, known as Lainey on TikTok with over 10,900 followers, posted a video detailing her disappointing experience. She had purchased restricted view tickets for one of Sheeran's three shows at the stadium and reported that the sound was overwhelmingly problematic.

"Do not get restricted view tickets for Ed Sheeran," Lainey warned in her caption. "The reverberation was insane, and he was completely incomprehensible." She described hearing only reverb once Sheeran began his set, leading her to leave the arena after just a few songs and listen to the remainder of the concert from the stadium's food hall.

Widespread Sound Issues Reported Across the Venue

The initial post prompted over a hundred responses from other attendees who echoed similar grievances. One fan noted that sound problems were not isolated to restricted view sections, stating, "I could hear the reverb from the pit! I complained about it to my friends, honestly, it was so bad."

Another concertgoer suggested a technical fault, explaining, "They managed to sort the reverberation out about 20 minutes into Ed Sheeran's set. It appeared the side speaker had been off for all the supporting acts. I'm not sure if this was a technical difficulty." A third attendee, who was in the front row standing area, reported hearing a delay in one of the speakers during Sheeran's speech.

Venue and Promoter Response Awaited

Daily Mail has reached out to Sheeran's promoters, Frontier Touring, for comment on the sound issues, but no official statement has been released at this time. The incident follows Sheeran's surprise performance in Sydney earlier this month, where he delighted fans with an unannounced show alongside Irish group Beoga at Paddington RSL.

Sheeran, the 35-year-old global superstar, is currently on an extensive tour across Australia, with upcoming dates scheduled at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on February 26, 27, and 28, followed by a final show at Adelaide Oval on March 5.
