Danny Dyer's rarely-seen daughter Sunnie appeared more in love than ever with her music industry boyfriend Will Wood as they danced together in a playful TikTok video shared on Sunday. The lesser-known Dyer sibling, aged 19, whose older sister is Love Island winner Dani Dyer, looked delighted as she pulled Will in front of the camera before he spun her around in a garden setting.
Sunnie's Relationship with Will Wood
Sunnie's boyfriend is record label founder Will Wood, the creative force behind STRINGZ and Journey Records, who often shares affectionate posts with Dani. In the new TikTok clip, Sunnie showcased her style in a white waistcoat and denim jeans as she performed with Will to Bruno Mars' hit 'Cha Cha Cha'. She simply captioned the video: 'He tried x'.
The couple, who have been dating since December, have been featuring regularly on each other's social media pages. They celebrated New Year's Eve together and enjoyed a romantic getaway over Valentine's Day. Sunnie and Will, who went official with their romance in May, seemed happier than ever as they wore matching white robes for photos and shared a kiss in a mirror selfie.
Sunnie's Acting Aspirations
Sunnie, who bears a striking resemblance to her sister, revealed last year that she is following in her father's footsteps. When asked about her post-school plans, she replied: 'Acting hopefully and moving to LA!' Speaking to The Sun last year, Sunnie said she will not make the same mistakes as her father regarding his battle with substance abuse. She said: 'Dad's life lesson has been my life lesson. Seeing my dad struggle at times was very, very hard. Dad's past has made me more aware about when to stop drinking and that there is a limit.'
She added: 'Now if he was struggling we could have a chat, but when I was younger I couldn't have understood. I was very protected. I didn't understand at home but then I would go to primary school and people would talk about it and I wouldn't really have a clue. It's very sad. My dad is my best friend.' Having trained at the esteemed Sylvia Young Theatre School, Sunnie said of her career aspirations while attending a red carpet event last year: 'I'm at college studying performing arts and this is the world I want to enter... So it's cool that I get to go to these events at a young age and know what the route is. I've wanted to be an actress ever since I could talk. Dad came into my college and did a workshop with us. He helped us run the lines, which was such a fun experience. I loved that — Dad teaching all my peers, him giving us feedback on what we should improve on. That was a nice moment.'
Dani Dyer's Strictly Come Dancing Return
This comes as Sunnie's sister Dani is reportedly set to make a Strictly Come Dancing comeback, a year after she was forced to quit the series due to fracturing her ankle during rehearsals. The Daily Mail broke the news that Dani, 29, one of the show's favourites, had to bow out before performing a single routine for the judges. Now, sources claim the TV personality 'jumped at the chance' to return to the dance floor as part of the 2026 line-up, after being approached by BBC bosses.
During her brief appearance, she was paired with Nikita Kuzmin, before being replaced by Amber Davies following her exit. A source said: 'Dani was beyond gutted when she had to quit Strictly. She never got a chance to do a single show or a dance for the judges so when the door was opened for her again by the BBC she jumped at the chance. Dani hasn't signed her contract yet but she's clearing her diary and has told the BBC she wants in. To get a second chance to appear on Strictly is a dream come true for her.' They told The Sun: 'The first time around she was paired with Nikita Kuzmin and she hopes she will get him again. She is determined to get on the dance floor and show the viewers what she's made of.' Daily Mail has contacted Dani's representatives and the BBC for comment.
Upon her exit, BBC bosses confirmed the door would be left open for 'heartbroken' Dani to return for the 2026 series, stating they 'hope to welcome her back to the ballroom in the future.' Dani was the second star to pull out of last year's series before the first live show aired, as Game of Thrones star Kristian Nairn withdrew due to 'unexpected medical reasons.'
This year's series of Strictly has undergone a major makeover after it was announced that Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe will be the new hosts. In addition to the new presenters, the show is also preparing to welcome five new professional dancers to the line-up. Strictly bosses are reportedly set to sign Ukrainian dancer Kateryna Klishyna, who has been branded 'the new Nadiya Bychkova' after the latter was axed from the show in March. Kateryna, 29, has previously appeared on America's Dancing With The Stars and So You Think You Can Dance in Ukraine. A source revealed to The Sun: 'Bosses love Kateryna. Many will see her as Nadiya's replacement as they look so similar.' BBC representatives refused to comment when approached by the Daily Mail.
