Indie bands Courteeners and The Coral will headline the opening night of the In the Park festival in Newcastle on July 8, 2027, at Exhibition Park.
The two groups, known for hits including "Not Nineteen Forever" and "In The Morning," will be joined by Seb Lowe on the first night of the outdoor event. Courteeners recently released a best-of album titled God Bless The Band.
Festival Line-up and Tickets
In the Park attracted thousands of attendees earlier this year when headliners Lewis Capaldi, Paul Weller and Wolf Alice performed. Tickets for the 2027 opening show are expected to sell out.
Fans can register now for pre-sale access at www.intheparkfestival.com/courteeners. Pre-sale tickets go live at 10am GMT on Wednesday, November 4, with general tickets available from 10am on Friday.
Additional Dates and Events
Headliners for the other dates of In the Park 2027, July 9 and 11, are due to be announced shortly. The dance festival Lost Minds will return on Saturday, July 10, filling the other vacant day, as it did this year.
