Anfield 2027 Concert Rumours: Bieber, Drake, Coldplay, Oasis

Speculation is building over which global superstars will headline Anfield Stadium's summer concert series, with Justin Bieber, Drake, Coldplay, and Oasis all tipped as potential acts. Announcements traditionally begin around this time of year, meaning official confirmation could come within weeks or even days.

Previous Headliners and Fan Excitement

The summer concert series is a major highlight of Liverpool's musical calendar, drawing fans from across the world. Past performers have included Taylor Swift, the Foo Fighters, and Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, spanning a wide range of genres.

Until Anfield Stadium or the event promoters make an official announcement, all names remain speculation. That has not stopped fans from sharing predictions about who could next grace the famous stage.

Rumoured Acts for 2027

Justin Bieber headlined Coachella during the summer after years out of the spotlight to focus on his relationship and family. Rumours suggest he is preparing a comeback, including a slot at Glastonbury. He has not performed a full UK tour since the 2022 cancellation of the Justice World Tour.

Drake has confirmed he will tour in 2027 “to see everybody again across the world.” Dates, cities, and tickets have not been announced, and fans believe the tour will be called Freeze the World.

Coldplay recently wrapped a world tour, but frontman Chris Martin told a crowd at Wembley on September 6 that the tour still has “another 138 shows to go,” hinting at an extension of the Music of the Spheres tour. Whether Liverpool is on the list remains to be seen.

Oasis Tour Update

Oasis announced on Instagram at 4pm on September 14 that they would tour in 2027. The band later added four new dates, including extra nights at Knebworth, with tickets now sold out.

After the sell-out, Liam Gallagher said: “That's all folks we have officially sold out no more tickets left congratulations to everyone who got a ticket and to the people who didn't sneak in f*** it yolo.” The band said in a separate post: “Tickets for Oasis Live '27 have now sold out. See you in 2027!”

Although Oasis will play 11 nights at Manchester's Etihad Stadium, speculation persists that the band could finally perform in Merseyside after Liverpool was dropped from last year's tour. It seems unlikely, but the rumour continues to circulate.
