Rockstar Takes Down More GTA 6 Leaks as New Footage Shows Cut Scenes
Rockstar Takes Down More GTA 6 Leaks With Cut Scenes

Another video clip has emerged from GTA 6 showing protagonist Jason fighting with a taser, as leakers continue to pressure Rockstar. The clip has been handed a copyright strike, which companies only usually do when it's authentic, but GameCentral has reached out to Rockstar for comment.

After months with no new information, whether official or unofficial, several notable leaks around GTA 6 have appeared in the last 24 hours. Along with the game's map, two clips circulated online showing basketball minigames and some of the in-game driving. These were all swiftly given copyright strikes, suggesting they are legitimate even if they appear to be from an old build of the game.

Third Clip Shows Jason in Vice City

Now, a third clip has made its way online, showing protagonist Jason driving around Vice City at night and causing havoc at a warehouse. The footage shows Jason breaking into a warehouse complex in his car. An option to 'clone key' appears when he brushes past another vehicle, suggesting there will be more ways than usual to break into cars in GTA 6.

Jason then engages in fisticuffs with security, before shooting them down with a taser. The section ends with him climbing into a lorry and escaping. Weirdly, the footage then cuts to a cut scene showing Jason on a small fishing boat with a friend. It seems purposefully edited in and mentions 'men in suits', perhaps to send a message to Rockstar that the leaker has access to cut scenes as well.

Leaker Group Cyberleek Targets Rockstar

Like the first two videos, this clip appears to stem from a group named Cyberleek. They are targeting Rockstar to protest the decision to sell digital pre-orders without a physical disc option, while directing people to buy cryptocurrency to seemingly profit from it.

On Tuesday, Cyberleeks said 'two to four more leaks' were 'incoming' today (August 19), so more footage might crop up soon. In a separate post, they added: '@RockstarGames, we will not be playing any more waiting games today. You are under a ticking time bomb, meet our demands or else we will leak the rest of the gameplay.' It is not clear how the group has obtained the footage but they have come under fire from Stop Killing Games, a movement which is similarly fighting for consumer protections.

Upcoming GTA 6 Reveal and Launch

This comes ahead of Netflix's Extended Look at GTA 6 which takes place on Thursday, August 27 at 8pm BST. It will launch on the Rockstar YouTube channel and GTA 6 website six hours later. GTA 6 is set to launch across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026.
