Richard E. Grant 'no longer on speaking terms' with Rob Beckett

Richard E. Grant has joked that he is "no longer on speaking terms" with Rob Beckett after poking fun at the comedian's teeth on The Celebrity Traitors. The 69-year-old shared a video on Instagram with his BBC co-star, asking him: "Rob, do you have more teeth than a normal person?"

Playful Exchange on Instagram

Rob then appears on screen, firing back: "Richard, do you have more forehead than a normal person?" The 40-year-old is seen showing off his pearly whites with a wide smile as Richard responds: "I don't know what you possibly mean Rob."

A post-it note with the word 'Traitor' was then stuck onto the actor's forehead in a cheeky nod to how much he failed to keep his Traitor status a secret in the castle. The clip was captioned: "Clearly, @robbeckettcomic & I are no longer on speaking terms! @thetraitorsukofficial @bbcone 8pm Thursday."

Fellow Co-Stars React

Their fellow Celebrity Traitors co-star Sharon Rooney left laughing face emojis in the comment section as Sebastian Croft chimed in: "This is so good."

The Celebrity Traitors series two returned last week on Thursday (Oct 1) and fans will find out tonight if Richard is the first celebrity to be banished from the castle. The actor was selected by Claudia Winkleman to be one of the Traitors along with Maya Jama before the pair recruited comedian James Acaster as their third.

Grant's Blunder and Fan Reactions

Richard accidentally blurted out within minutes that he had been chosen for the dark side, sparking widespread confusion among the Faithfuls as he failed to backtrack on his confession. Fans have subsequently branded him an even worse traitor than 'Chatty Man' star Alan Carr, who won the first Celebrity Traitors series last year despite his hilarious behaviour.

Grant's unexpected blunder has left him in deep water as Friday night's episode ended on a cliffhanger around the Round Table. With such high suspicions on him, fans expect the star to not only be the first Traitor caught but the first star banished from the Scottish Highlands Castle.

Journalist Amol Rajan was the first celebrity to be killed during Thursday night's opening episode. However, there has not been a banishment yet. Viewers will learn who is banished in tonight's episode. Bookmakers ActionNetwork.com have also shared that Richard only has about a 0.5 per cent probability of winning the series. The actor had originally been one of the favourites to win the show before his epic fail.

The Celebrity Traitors returns to the BBC at 8pm tonight.
