Lane7, the UK's largest independent 'boutique' bowling venue, will open its newest location in Cardiff on September 18. The venue is on St Mary Street, where Par 59 golf bar was previously located, and bookings are now available.
The new nighttime destination promises a 'high-octane' mix of luxury bowling, retro games, killer cocktails, and a food menu designed for sharing, adding to Cardiff's nightlife scene.
Six bowling lanes and more gaming attractions
The Cardiff venue will feature six immersive bowling lanes with Lane7's signature branding and premium service. Beyond bowling, visitors can enjoy Tech Shuffleboard, Big Putts Golf, private karaoke rooms, beer pong, pool, and interactive darts. The bar will also show major sports year-round on big screens throughout the space.
Managing director's welcome
Gavin Hughes, Managing Director at Lane7, said: "It's no secret that we've been itching to bring Lane7 to Cardiff for some time, and we're thrilled to have found a venue in the heart of the city centre."
"Everyone knows Cardiff is one of the UK's great nights out, and Lane7 is a venue where you can have all your best nights in one. It's the perfect match. We can't wait to get the doors open."
Background and booking details
In April, it was announced that Par 59 would close and be taken over by Lane7. Par 59 was operated by a partnership between Elevens Group, co-owned by Gareth Bale and Jamie Humphrys, and DEPOT. Elevens Group will continue to focus on other commercial opportunities and currently operates Elevens Bar & Grill on Castle Street.
Bookings are available at book.lane7, and updates are shared on @lane7_ on social media. The gaming attractions include six bowling lanes, three pool tables, one karaoke room, three tech shuffleboard tables, three beer pong tables, four Big Putts golf lanes, and five darts oches.
