Swansea Beaujolais Day 2026: Last-Minute Bookings Still Available

With a little over a month to go until Swansea's biggest event in the autumn calendar, spaces are short for those who want to celebrate 2026's Beaujolais Day. This year it falls on November 19.

Thousands dress up and descend on the city's pubs and restaurants to raise a toast to the first wine of the season made from the first harvest of grapes in the Beaujolais region of France. The lore of Beaujolais Day states that at one minute past midnight on the third Thursday of each November, more than a million cases of Beaujolais begin their journey across France with a race to get the first bottles to different markets across the globe.
