The UK's largest independent flower show, Southport Flower Show, returns to Victoria Park from Thursday, August 20, to Sunday, August 23, with more than 50,000 visitors expected over the four days. The event opens daily from 10am to 6pm, closing at 5pm on Sunday.
Celebrity Guests and Experts
Horticultural experts include Adam Frost, Joe Swift, and Arit Anderson from BBC Gardeners' World, plus Lee Burkhill, the Garden Ninja. Great British Bake Off's Candice Brown and Briony May Williams will appear alongside TV chef Phil Vickery in the Cookery Theatre.
Children's presenters Justin Fletcher and Andy Day will entertain families in the Celebrity Theatre, with an appearance by Strictly Come Dancing's Anton Du Beke. Other notable names include Su Pollard, Rob Rinder, and Mr Motivator.
Marquees, Shopping, and Food
Visitors can explore show garden displays created by designers and landscapers competing for judges' approval, and the grand floral marquee offers plants, flowers, trees, shrubs, vegetables, herbs, and unusual specimens.
The pop-up retail village features hundreds of exhibitors selling plants, garden products, clothing, accessories, home and cookware, luxury holidays, and cars. The food village offers samples and produce from more than 30 independent gourmet producers, with live cooking demonstrations in the cookery theatre.
Entertainment and Family Activities
The arena hosts performances including a dog display team, birds of prey, and horse demonstrations. Live music plays at the Piazza Stage, and Waterstones brings a line-up of authors. Younger visitors can enjoy a free children's trail, the Kids' Potting Shed, forest school, scarecrow maze, alpacas, Kidz Fun Fitness, and a doodle wall.
The Lakeside Reset, new this year, offers a tranquil area beside the water with sessions including yoga, mindfulness, and wellbeing experiences across the four days.
Tickets
The only tickets still available are any one day early bird passes at £28 plus fees. One Night In Havana party tickets are available for £22 to £25, with a table of 10 priced at £200.
