Southport has announced the return of its Christmas Spectacular, with a host of famous faces and performances confirmed. The annual event, organised by Southport BID, takes place between 11am and 4pm on Saturday, November 14, and is free to attend and open to everyone.
Live entertainment and festive activities
Visitors will be able to enjoy live entertainment at the Lord Street bandstand alongside a lineup of festive activities outside The Vincent Hotel, highlighted by photo opportunities with famous film and TV characters.
The Southport Christmas Spectacular marks the official launch of the busy festive season in Southport. Last year's event in The Town Hall Gardens attracted thousands of families throughout the day, and a large attendance is expected once again this year.
Confirmed performances and family fun
On stage, family-friendly shows and performances include Toy Story, K-Pop Vs Saja, superhero shows, local dance schools, Christmas choirs, and Marshside Brass Band.
Other activities during the event include a meet and greet with Paddington, a meet and greet with Buzz Lightyear, Christmas crafts and facepainting, a giant snowglobe photo opportunity, and Children's Christmas Wellbeing Sessions.
More events will be announced in the coming weeks.
