RhuddFest, a family-friendly music festival, is set to return to Rhuddlan, a town near Rhyl in North Wales, from Friday, August 14 to Sunday, August 16. The three-day event, first held in 2015, has grown into a weekend-long celebration that organizers say has 'grown from the ground up' over the years.
What to expect at RhuddFest
According to the festival's website, Rhuddfest is described as 'a mid-sized, family-run music festival that’s grown from the ground up, built on authenticity, connection, and good old-fashioned positivity.' The event aims to create a space where friends and families can come together, relax, and enjoy each other's company.
Visitors can bring their camping chairs for the day or pitch a tent and camp for the entire weekend. The festival features a lineup of tribute acts, including The Counterfeit Beatles, Red Knot Chili Peppers, and Oasis Supernova. A pyrotechnic parachute display is scheduled for Friday evening, and dance act Ian Van Dahl will also perform.
Family fun and activities
Children can enjoy a dedicated kids' area with a stage, magic shows, a giant inflatable area, and a family games room. Adults can relax with a 'proper sit-down pint' at the beer tents. Attendees can also ride on monster trucks, watch chainsaw speed carving, and browse a lineup of classic cars. Street food vendors, an artisan market, and various competitions and activities will be available throughout the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will feature live professional wrestling shows.

The main stage lineup for Saturday includes performances from Oasis Supernova, Wilbur Milton, FU Fighters, Abstract, Legendary Bon Jovi, Chasing Mumford, The Counterfeit Beatles, Lucy Floyd as Dolly Parton, Red Knot Chili Peppers, Cokarolla, The Glass Angels, and The Rock Project. Sunday's lineup features The Montagues, Hunzz, The Sirenz, Bau Cat, The Comfy Chairs, CF Boneslum, and Route 55.
