At least 20 cinemas across Greater Manchester will screen the new Oasis documentary Don’t Look Back In Anger, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the band’s reunion tour. The film will be released in cinemas on September 9 for a limited run before streaming on Disney+ in the UK later this year, and on Hulu internationally.
Reunion Tour Highlights
The documentary covers the Oasis Live ‘25 tour, which began in Cardiff in July 2025 and spanned five continents with 41 shows attended by more than two million fans. It also included five homecoming nights at Manchester’s Heaton Park.
Directed by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, the film features the first joint interviews with Liam and Noel Gallagher since the reunion tour began, tracing the band’s journey from humble beginnings to global phenomenon. It also includes rehearsal footage that the filmmakers said frontman Liam didn’t initially realise was being recorded, as their filming process had been so discreet.
Premiere and Screenings
The film will receive its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 5. Both ODEON and VUE have confirmed the documentary will be shown at all of their combined 185 cinemas across the country.
