itison Drive-In Movies Christmas is returning to Loch Lomond Shores this December, with tickets going on sale next week. Organisers have confirmed the event will run from Friday, December 11 on select dates through to Christmas Eve, featuring 28 screenings of Christmas classics, cult favourites and family blockbusters.
Scots are being advised to set their alarms for Wednesday, November 4 at 7:30am, when tickets go on sale exclusively on the itison website, as the event sells out within minutes every year.
Festive Screenings and Experience
Set against the fairy-lit backdrop of Loch Lomond Shores, the event will see thousands of movie lovers cosy up in their cars for festive favourites. This year's showings include Elf, Home Alone, Love Actually, The Polar Express, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Die Hard 2, all shown on the world's biggest mobile LED screen.
Ticket holders can expect a full festive experience with in-car entertainment, Christmas car-a-oke, gourmet street food and festive cheer. The street food on offer includes churros from Glasgow favourites Loop & Scoop, fried chicken from Dirty Bird, wood-fired pizzas, popcorn and marshmallow topped hot chocolates.
