The Life Science Centre in Newcastle is set to host an adults-only 'after dark' event on October 8, where dinosaurs will be the spooky stars of the show. The venue will enforce a strict over-18s policy for the evening, which runs from 6pm, just weeks before Halloween.

Ticket holders will be able to explore the centre in the dark and step into a Jurassic Park-style world with The Great Dinosaur Escape, which has been attracting record-breaking visitor numbers since opening. The North's biggest collection of moving dinosaurs features more than 25 dinosaurs, including a towering 9-metre T.rex, a baby Stegosaurus, and plenty more prehistoric legends.
For those who prefer a break from the dinosaurs, the Planetarium will offer a 360° presenter-led show on autumn constellations and how to find the Andromeda Galaxy. Visitors can also experience Lightbox, home to Europe's highest tornado tower.
Tickets and Availability
A bar will be open all night, and tickets cost £15, or £12 for students and concessions. This event follows a weekend of Jurassic Park-themed outdoor cinema screenings at Herrington Park, where fans enjoyed the original 1993 blockbuster on the big screen.
