Massive solid green walls have been built around part of Otterspool in Liverpool ahead of a one-day festival takeover this weekend. The fencing has been erected in the run-up to No Art, returning to Otterspool Park on Saturday, August 8, following a sold-out show last year.
No Art festival returns with expanded capacity
No Art, which began as a series of small parties, has grown into international events, including festivals in Ibiza and the US. This year's lineup includes headliners ANOTR alongside Franky Rizardo, Jamback, Kai King, Miluhska, Rooléh, Rossi, and Toma. The 2026 event will have increased capacity, allowing more music fans to attend, and organisers have promised significantly enhanced production and a carefully curated programme reflecting the brand's global reputation.
A spokesperson for Entwine Live said: "We're pleased to be bringing No Art Liverpool back for a second consecutive year. With much bigger production and a massive line-up waiting to be revealed - we promise you, you're going to love it."
Tickets and past success
No Art sold out Grand Central Hall on Renshaw Street two years before its huge sell-out event in Liverpool last summer. The 2025 festival featured names such as Solomun, Anotr, Bibi Seck, Bontan and Toman. The festival has mainly sold out, with only one ticket type remaining: a backstage ticket with exclusive lounge and stage access for £207.20.
Fencing also goes up in Sefton Park
In Sefton Park, fencing is also being put up, not for this weekend but as preparation for In The Park festival on Saturday, August 15, headlined by Lewis Capaldi. The Scottish singer-songwriter rose to fame with his global hit "Someone You Loved" and released his debut album "Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent" in 2019, featuring hits like "Before You Go", "Bruises" and "Grace". He followed with "Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent" in 2023.
Lewis will be joined by Loyle Carner, twice shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and recipient of multiple BRIT and NME Award nominations, with more than 1.1 billion streams to his name. Tickets are still available for the show, and the ECHO and In The Park have teamed up for a competition giving away three pairs of general admission tickets. Winners will be selected randomly after the competition closes at 11.45pm on Thursday, August 6, and notified by phone or email on Friday, August 7, with a 4pm deadline to claim prizes.
