Glastonbury 2027 ticket sale date and time confirmed

Glastonbury 2027 tickets go on sale at 9am on Sunday, October 4, with around 200,000 music fans expected to try to secure places at the Somerset festival. The event returns to Worthy Farm in Pilton next year after taking a year out in 2026, running from June 23 for five days. The line-up has not yet been announced.

Coach packages sell out in 30 minutes

The second batch of tickets goes on sale on Sunday morning after coach packages sold out in just half an hour on Thursday night. Tickets are expected to disappear quickly, with thousands of people likely to be left disappointed. Fans must have registered in advance and will be subject to strict rules to ensure the sale runs smoothly.

Tickets can only be bought via the See Tickets website. Glastonbury recommends logging on at least 10 minutes before the sale starts to be ready in the queue.

How the queue system works

Anyone wanting a ticket needs to have registered and have their own unique registration number. When coach tickets went on sale on Thursday, ticket hopefuls were asked to input their registration number to join the queue. Everyone already on the page when the sale starts at 9am will randomly be assigned a place in the queue to access the booking process. Anyone who logs on after the sale has started will automatically be added to the back of the queue.

Once in the queue, a progress bar shows how close you are to reaching the booking page. Glastonbury advises people not to use multiple browser tabs as it can confuse the process and may cause the transaction to fail. Since the queue system launched in 2024, people have been advised to stick to one page and wait, rather than refreshing a holding page as in previous years.

The festival website states: "We strongly advise that you use just one browser tab when trying to book tickets, in order to avoid possible problems with your transaction, and please do not refresh the page once you are in the queue."

Ticket limits, prices and payment

There is a limit of six tickets per transaction, and the registration details of everyone in the group are needed, including names, registration numbers and postcodes. Registration numbers will be locked for up to 10 minutes if details are entered incorrectly, or if an attempt to book is already held against the registration number.

Tickets for 2027 will cost £408 each, including a £5 booking fee, with a postage and packing fee of £11.25 per order. A deposit of £100 per ticket is required at the time of the sale, and the remainder must be paid during the first week of April next year.

Glastonbury tickets always sell out quickly. Coach packages were gone in 30 minutes, and the main sale is expected to take a similar amount of time. In 2024, tickets for the 2025 festival sold out in 35 minutes, the first year the queue system was used.

A resale is usually held in April, a few weeks before the festival, giving fans one last chance to buy any tickets that are not paid for in full.
