The Gin & Rum Festival will return to Newcastle Cathedral on November 7, bringing a party atmosphere, themed bars and live music to late autumn nights. The touring event, which previously visited the cathedral, will feature more than 120 varieties of spirits, including British brands and labels from around the world, some exclusive to the festival.
What to expect at the festival
Organisers say ticket holders can expect "the very best in gin, rum and tequila," with 120-plus premium drinks on offer. Themed bars will cover British, World and Flavoured options for both gin and rum, alongside a cocktail bar. Visitors will also have the chance to enjoy free samples and tasters.
Guest distillers from across the UK are confirmed, including Mother Ruin from Cornwall, Sweet Potato from Worcestershire, Craobh from Glasgow, Shelleys from Lancashire and Uche Rum from Windsor.
Live music and ticket details
DJs and an acoustic duo will provide live entertainment during the event. Two time slots are available: 12.15pm-4.30pm or 6pm-10pm. Tickets cost £23.71 including fees, with a current deal offering four tickets for the price of three, working out at around £17.88 each.
Each ticket includes a free drink provided at the exit by festival partner Soul Rum, a branded stainless steel tumbler, a reusable straw, a snack from partner Lovecorn, a festival guide and a satchel.
