Manchester clothing manufacturer Henri-Lloyd will host a special sample sale on Saturday at Terrace in the Northern Quarter. The brand, first established in 1963, is a leading manufacturer of outdoor clothing and will be selling a range of limited edition heritage stock at the event, including 705 off current collections and archive pieces. There will also be live DJs spinning tracks throughout the day. The event runs from 11am to 4pm.
Football trophies at the Printworks
TNT Sports is bringing six of the biggest prizes in club football to the Printworks this Saturday. Between 10am and 2pm, fans can come face-to-face with the Premier League, Emirates FA Cup, Women's FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League trophies. The free pop-up event will also include a photo opportunity.
Madrid celebration at Maricarmen
Spanish tapas restaurant Maricarmen in the Northern Quarter and Ancoats has been hosting a three-day Verbena De La Paloma celebration of Madrid. There will be live music, snacks, flamenco, and a special menu featuring crispy squid rolls, spiced castilla wine lemonade and traditional rosquillas biscuits. It runs until Saturday at both venues (until 2.30pm in the NQ, until 5pm at Ancoats). Walk-ins only.
Family festival in Stockport
Stockport's Stopford House piazza will host a family-friendly festival this Sunday featuring workshops, food stalls and live jazz. There will be free pottery, badge making and kite making sessions, as well as photo walks and urban sketching. Auntie Lou's, Stockport Provision, HUSTLE and Runaway Brewing will be on hand for food and drink.
World Breaking Finals
The World Breaking Finals of the UK B-Boy Championships will take place at Aviva Studios on Sunday. Elite breakers from over 20 countries will battle it out for the World Champion title, with solo battles and 6v6 crew throwdowns. Tickets start from £12.50, with the event running from 3pm to 8pm.
