Fenwick Newcastle reveals 2026 Christmas Window unveiling date
Fenwick Newcastle Christmas Window 2026 reveal date confirmed

Fenwick's 2026 Christmas Window display in Newcastle city centre will be unveiled on Sunday, November 1 at 6.30pm, the store has confirmed. The announcement comes as speculation grows over what this year's theme will be.

A 50-Year Tradition of Festive Displays

For more than 50 years, the famous Newcastle store has spread festive cheer with its annual window display. Past themes have included Camberwick Green, Rupert Meets Santa and Aladdin, as well as the much-talked-about aliens of 2002, when Fenwick adopted a 'Christmas in Another World' theme.

Over the last decade, themes have ranged from The Snowman to Beatrix Potter, Paddington to Shaun the Sheep. Last year, many people agreed that A Christmas Carol was one of the best in some time, drawing shoppers from far and wide.

Reveal Event Details and Public Viewing

While the format of the reveal has changed significantly in recent years, with it now only open to invited guests and an area of Northumberland Street blocked off to hide it from public view, it remains a magical event. Everyone else can watch the live reveal online via Fenwick's official Instagram and YouTube channels at 6.30pm on the night.

The window will be open for public viewing from Monday, November 2 and throughout the festive season. On the evening of the reveal, a section of Northumberland Street will be closed off for public safety.

Guests and Community Involvement

A number of guests will be in attendance, including children and families from Newcastle's local schools, hospitals and charities, as well as ballot winners.
