Creamfields 2026: Banned items and alcohol rules explained

Creamfields 2026 is set to return with a huge line-up featuring the world's biggest dance acts. The festival will celebrate 20 years at its Daresbury site from Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30. Thousands are expected to attend across the four days to watch the biggest names in dance including Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris, Sonny Fodera, and more.

Alcohol and campsite rules

Whether you're camping across the four days or visiting on a day ticket, it is worth being clued up on the latest rules and FAQs. The ECHO has rounded up everything attendees need to know on banned items for the campsites and event arena. Attendees should be aware that there is not a dedicated area to store banned items, so be sure to check before you pack.

Alcohol is allowed at the campsite, but glass bottles and kegs are banned. Alcohol is limited to 1 x 24 can/plastic crate of beer/cider or drink of choice and 1l of spirit or wine in plastic bottle/box per person. Computer equipment is allowed at an owner's risk. Reusable plastic and metal bottles and coffee cups are allowed but must be empty. Medication is allowed if it is accompanied by a doctors note or prescription in its original packaging. Sun cream is at a limit of 500ml for day ticket holders. Excessive amounts of tobacco will be confiscated. Campers are allowed to bring food and non-alcoholic drink on to the campsite; however, food and drink are not permitted in the event arena.
