Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone and Travis Scott have been announced as headliners for Coachella 2025. The festival will take place over two weekends in April at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Travis Scott, whose billing includes the description 'designs the desert', is reportedly planning an immersive experience called CactusCon, according to Rolling Stone. He will perform after Green Day's set on Saturday nights. This marks Scott's return to Coachella after his 2020 headline slot was cancelled due to Covid and his 2022 appearance was scrapped following a crowd crush at his Astroworld festival in 2021 that killed 10 people.
Lady Gaga will headline for the second time, having previously stepped in for Beyoncé in 2017. Post Malone, a frequent performer at the festival, will take the headline slot for the first time. Green Day, in their 37-year career, have never performed at Coachella, though frontman Billie Joe Armstrong joined the Replacements on stage in 2014.
Other acts on the lineup include Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, Missy Elliott, Shaboozey, and Blackpink members Jennie and Lisa, who will perform separately this year after headlining together in 2023 as the first Asian and all-female act to do so. Additional performers include Benson Boone, the Prodigy, FKA twigs, Clairo, Sam Fender, Parcels, Blonde Redhead, Amyl and the Sniffers, K-pop group Enhypen, children's musical TV show Yo Gabba Gabba!, and beabadoobee.
Last year's headliners were Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, Doja Cat and No Doubt, but the festival experienced its slowest ticket sales in a decade. Coachella 2025 will be held on 11-13 April and 18-20 April.
