Elon Musk's Trans Daughter Vivian Wilson Stars in Rihanna's Savage X Fenty Valentine's Day Campaign

Rihanna's lingerie brand Savage X Fenty has enlisted Vivian Wilson, the 21-year-old trans daughter of Elon Musk, for its Valentine's Day campaign. Vivian, who launched her professional modelling career last year, is the eldest of Musk's 14 children and has been publicly estranged from him since coming out as trans in 2020.

In the campaign titled 'Love So Savage: A Modern Ode to Aphrodite', Vivian poses in a red and black floral bra and matching bottoms with striking red tights. She is pictured alongside fellow models Emma Arletta and Lovie Simone, surrounded by Greek statues. Rihanna also appears in solo shots wearing various matching sets from the collection.

Vivian has been a rising star in the modelling world, making her New York Fashion Week debut in September. She previously designed a charity shirt for the Trevor Project in collaboration with Wildfang, marking her first professional campaign. Her estrangement from her father became official in 2022 when she legally changed her name, stating she no longer wished to be related to him 'in any way, shape or form'.

Vivian has spoken out about her father's public comments, including his deadnaming of her during a podcast interview with Jordan Peterson. She responded on Threads, telling him to 'touch grass' and accusing him of being 'desperate for attention and validation'. In a Teen Vogue interview, she said she does not give him space in her mind, adding that 'the only thing that gets to live free in my mind is drag queens'.

Her mother, Justine Wilson, praised Vivian as 'fierce' with an 'uncompromising sense' of who she is. Vivian uses her platform to advocate for marginalised groups, including trans people, undocumented immigrants and people of colour. She said: 'I don't feel like people realise that being trans is not a choice.'
