'Time traveller' trapped in 2027 after extinction

A man who claims to be a time traveller from 2027 has posted TikTok videos showing what he says is his life in an abandoned city in Spain. He goes by Javier and uses the handle @unicosobreviviente.

Javier says he woke up in a hospital with no memory of events and found himself the sole survivor of a mass extinction event. He has been recording the vacant streets and uploading them to TikTok, amassing a large following.

In his latest clip, Javier walks through a hidden corridor that resembles a nuclear shelter. He says he must adapt to isolation, adding: 'I think I'll have to get used to being here alone forever.'

Previous claims and reactions

Earlier, he revealed a supposedly deserted Valencia and said: 'I just woke up in a hospital and I don't know what might have happened. Today is February 13, 2027, and I am alone in the city. Humanity has been extinct, there is no one in shopping centres.'

Viewers noted that the shops are lit, shelves are stocked, and the internet works. One user joked: 'Well, at least there's TikTok in the future.' Another asked if he was still stuck in time, and a third requested a look at the iPhone 14.

When questioned about the electricity supply, Javier replied: 'Most likely there is a type of connection between 2021 and 2027.'
