Oasis are reportedly set to announce more tour dates for 2027, including a 12-night residency at Manchester City's Etihad Stadium and six shows at Knebworth, according to The Sun. Tickets could go on sale as early as this month, with an announcement expected in August.
Etihad Stadium residency and Knebworth shows
The rumoured plans would see Oasis take over the Etihad Stadium for 12 nights across six weeks starting in June 2027. 'Dates could be added, but for now that's the master plan,' an insider told The Sun. The band would then play Knebworth six times over three weeks.
The Knebworth shows seem more likely after the BBC reported that SJM Concerts, the promoter of the Oasis reunion tour, has secured a licence to host events at the venue. A source told The Sun: 'Knebworth is a special place for Noel and Liam. The shows in 1996 broke records as 2.6million people applied for tickets. It was the largest demand for tickets in British music history. They broke that with Oasis Live '25. Now they're going to become the only act to have played Knebworth six times.'
Second run always planned
The brothers reunited last year after the band split in 2009 amid reports of a fraught relationship. A source told The Sun: 'Noel and Liam always planned for the tour to have a second run. There were discussions about announcing [it] during the World Cup because of the connection between Wonderwall and the Three Lions in this tournament.'
There are also whispers that the band could headline Glastonbury 2027, with the new rumoured dates making them bookies' favourites.
Tickets on sale this month?
Fans should watch Oasis' social pages and Ticketmaster this month. The source said: 'They've settled on August. It'll give the country something to shout about — whether we're celebrating or commiserating.' August 10 also marks the 30th anniversary of Oasis' Knebworth concerts, a possible date for an announcement.
The Oasis '25 ticket release saw queues of over 500,000 people, with scams and extortionate resale prices following. Prime Minister Keir Starmer said it's 'not fair' after fans faced high resale prices. Similar scenes are expected if the new dates are announced.
