Wind and rain can quickly ruin a carefully styled hairdo, but a cordless straightening brush has been hailed as a practical solution. The gadget was recently featured on This Morning by beauty expert Nadine Baggott, who shared her favourite products for keeping a beauty routine intact during wet weather.
The Cordless Hair Straighteners Brush is priced at £43.68 on Amazon for the black version and £37.11 for the white one. It operates on a rechargeable battery with a charging dock, and automatically switches off after 20 minutes. Its lightweight, compact design makes it easy to slip into a bag for touch-ups at the office, after the gym, or on the train.
Unlike traditional straighteners with two plates, this brush-style device straightens hair as it is combed through, using negative ions to smooth and add shine while reducing damage. It offers nine temperature settings ranging from 120°C to 200°C. Similar devices are available elsewhere, such as the Revamp Straight and Go Ionic Cordless Straightening Hot Brush at Boots for £89.99, and the Beurer StylePro Cordless Mini Straightener for £59.99.
Shoppers have given the recommended brush mostly positive feedback, with one describing it as “better than expected” and another noting it leaves “a lovely shine”. However, some criticised the battery life, saying it “runs out very quickly” and may not last for a full head of hair on a single charge.
