This week's Steal Their Style column from Manchester's Northern Quarter features Parisian triplet models, all named Jean, who were visiting the city. The trio, all 24 years old and working as models and content creators, stood out despite a chaotic week of city centre encounters.
Parisian Triplets Bring Vintage Style
The brothers, who use double-barrel first names to tell each other apart, shared their outfit choices for their Manchester trip. Jean-David wore a vintage vest from a Paris shop, jeans from Mason Ryder, boots from Vinted, and a red shirt that was a gift, along with Ray-Bans. He cited Mick Jagger, David Bowie, and Jimi Hendrix as style inspirations.
Jean-Dieudonne wore Chino pants from Vinted, described as French military original make, shoes from Velasca Milano, and a blazer also from Vinted for 20 bucks. His glasses were from Nathalie Blanc. He drew inspiration from the 40s to 60s, citing Fred Astaire, Gary Cooper, and Michael Jackson.
Jean-Jacques wore a striped Ralph Lauren shirt, pants from Collaro, loafers from Max Sauveur, and a belt from Maison Boinet, which he bought from the women's side for a thinner fit. He cited Fred Astaire, Paul Newman, and 30s and 60s style as influences.
Local Styles: Sonia and Dominic
Also featured was Sonia, a 22-year-old RNCM composition student, wearing boots and a dress from All Saints, a belt from a leather shop in Iran, a denim jacket from Vinted, and a bag from Primark. Her beret was a gift from her partner, bought in Belfast. Her jewellery came from Iran, Camden Town, and Afflecks, with a Casio watch. She mixes 70s and 80s fashion with Persian culture.
Finally, Dominic Lawson, a 34-year-old musician, wore a cardigan from the ASOS Collusion series for about £35. His shirt was Big Society band merch, his hat was Kendrick Lamar merch from a Cardiff concert in 2025, and his shorts were from Zara on sale for about £18. He also wore Marc Jacobs sunglasses and Nike shoes, citing Jimi Hendrix as an inspiration.
