Emily Atack Shines in Red Swimsuit for Marks & Spencer's Latest Campaign
Actress Emily Atack, aged 36, looked absolutely stunning as she modelled a vibrant red swimsuit for a new Marks & Spencer campaign that launched this Wednesday. The star, best known for her role in The Inbetweeners and more recently in the series Rivals, showcased her incredible figure in the flattering one-piece while lounging in a striped inflatable ring in a swimming pool.
A Luxurious Setting and Stylish Accessories
Soaking up the sun at a luxurious-looking hotel, Emily accessorised her look with matching red sunglasses, adding a touch of glamour to the poolside scene. The campaign celebrates the launch of M&S's new Sparks loyalty programme, which features a digital Sparks wallet allowing customers to earn real money rewards to spend across any part of the retailer.
Emily, who shares her young son Barney with fiancé Alistair Garner, is the latest celebrity to join the crew of M&S ambassadors. Speaking at an M&S event in London on Wednesday, she praised the brand for its affordable prices amid the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Embracing Frugality and Community Support
'Now it's more accessible and it's affordable. We're all being more frugal,' Emily stated. She elaborated on her personal financial awareness, saying, 'I'm looking at my accounts for the first time going, oh my God, I have a child. I've got a mortgage. I'm a grown-up now.'
The actress also highlighted the sense of community provided by the store's parents groups, which meet regularly. 'This has come at a really nice time, and given me this sense of community, since becoming a mum,' she explained. 'It can be quite a lonely thing sometimes, and you sort of feel with M&S, it's a brand that has got your back.'
Career Success and a Move to the Countryside
Emily's career has continued to flourish, thanks in part to her role in Rivals, based on the novel by Jilly Cooper, where she stars alongside Danny Dyer and David Tennant. Recently, it was revealed that she has swapped London life for a quieter village near her mother's home.
Last month, sources disclosed that Emily and Alistair had moved to an idyllic village near her childhood home after welcoming their first child in June 2025. A source told The Sun, 'She moved out of her family home 20 years ago but is now back living just 15 minutes away from her mum in a neighbouring village.'
The insider added, 'It's all because of the man she fell in love with – and how he's given her the confidence to trust herself. She's had the biggest success of her career to date since starring in Rivals and is now living the life she truly wants.' Daily Mail contacted Emily's representatives for comment at the time.
Hosting Easter Celebrations in Their New Home
Emily recently shared a glimpse inside the country cottage she has moved into after hosting Easter Sunday in their new pad. Sharing a snap from her cosy country cottage, Emily and her scientist partner appeared to be nursing hangovers on Monday following the celebrations.
In the photo, Emily meekly held up a mug of coffee to her lips while sporting a pair of bunny ears, with Alistair pulling a similarly unimpressed expression beside her. Make-up free, Emily wore a ribbed grey top with her hair pulled back, while Alistair opted for comfort in a slogan sweatshirt.
Toasting to a successful afternoon of hosting, Emily wrote, 'Ouchie. Well done sir, @dralistairgarner.' She also posted a look at the aftermath of the garden party on her Instagram Story, revealing a linen-covered table laden with half-finished drinks and bottles of booze.
In the background of the snap, Emily and Alistair's new house was visible, and she captioned the image, 'Chaos. Always.' Emily also gave fans a look at her delicious spread, which featured:
- Fresh salads
- Seafood dishes
- Quiches
- A selection of sweet treats
A snap reshared by Emily revealed a brick annex at the bottom of the garden, while another showed she employed a bartender to serve drinks at her party, highlighting the couple's new lifestyle in their idyllic village home.
