Charlotte Simone's new coats: 3 styles I'd buy

The first winter 2026 drop from cult label Charlotte Simone has landed, and I tried on the 17-piece collection. Three styles stand out as must-buys: the new tiger print Roxanne, the Maxine jacket, and the Olive jacket.

Charlotte Simone coats are known for shearling trims, statement sleeves, joy-sparking colours, and vintage-inspired silhouettes. The London-based brand, founded by designer Charlotte Simone Beecham, has a long list of celebrity fans including Taylor Swift, Charli xcx, Dua Lipa, Gigi Hadid, and Sienna Miller.

A drop model that drives demand

The brand operates on a drop model, meaning customers can only buy a limited run over one-week periods. Pieces can also appear in occasional archive sales, but generally you have to act fast to secure one. Simone started the brand over a decade ago, originally selling online and through retailers like Selfridges and Matches Fashion. She pivoted to a limited-quantity model because of Covid, a move that proved both successful and sustainably minded.

This latest collection combines signature silhouettes with fresh new styles, all inspired by a moment of hope. “Every collection starts with a feeling, and this one began with the optimism that comes with a new chapter,” says Simone. “I’d just had my baby boy, so instead of travelling for research as I normally would, I stayed on home turf. The ideas were really born in my pastel pink bedroom, nursing at dawn with very tired eyes, watching golden skies come up over London. There's something so hopeful about a winter morning… the light, faded petals resting on the mantelpiece, the warmth of home when it's freezing outside. I wanted to bottle that feeling.”

Three standout styles

New to the line-up are the brand’s first fleece and a tiger print style called Roxanne, made in cotton for a lighter effect. “Roxanne’s tiger print was laboured over and loved in-house for quite some time, so seeing her finally come to life feels really special,” says Simone. “She's bold and playful, with a little bit of that Sixties confidence I love.”

For an everyday style that goes with everything, the Maxine jacket is a glossy black faux leather style trimmed with Mongolian lambswool. The Olive jacket combines ‘chocolate’ brown faux shearling with ‘strawberry milk’ lambswool trim, offering a flash of pink for winter outfits.

The collection is available from £200 between Tuesday 6 October and 13 October at Charlottesimone.com.
