Brad Pitt Transforms $12m Hollywood Hills Home into Palm-Lined Oasis
Brad Pitt's $12m Hollywood Hills Home Gets Palm Tree Makeover

Exclusive aerial photographs have revealed that Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt has undertaken a dramatic, resort-style transformation of his $12 million Los Angeles love nest, creating a private oasis in the heart of the Hollywood Hills. The Oscar-winning actor has completely overhauled the grounds of his sprawling Spanish-style estate, which he now shares with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, swapping out conventional landscaping for imposing rows of palm trees that encircle the property's pool area.

A Dramatic Landscape Transformation

The newly released images show a remarkable before-and-after shift at the six-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion. The traditional greenery that once characterised the property has been replaced by tall, elegant palms that not only enhance privacy but also cultivate a distinct luxury vacation atmosphere. This ambitious revamp marks a clear personal statement from Pitt and de Ramon, who have wasted no time in putting their own stamp on the home since the actor finalised the purchase on August 5, 2025.

Creating a Private Sanctuary

The aerial shots clearly illustrate how the towering palms now dominate the backyard, creating a secluded, glamorous hideaway. The renovation extends beyond the landscaping, with Pitt also replacing the old sun shades that previously dotted the garden with updated, sleek outdoor furniture. A contemporary dining table and chairs have been strategically positioned poolside, completing the resort-style aesthetic. This transformation suggests the property is being shaped into a permanent, secure home for the couple, following Pitt's decision to relocate full-time after a burglary at his previous Los Feliz residence in June 2025.

A Property Steeped in History and Change

Before Pitt's acquisition, the home belonged to Dave Keuning, the lead guitarist of the rock band The Killers. However, Pitt is clearly steering the property in a radically different direction, reflecting a fresh chapter in his life. The actor, who celebrated his 62nd birthday in December, was able to acquire the house for below its initial asking price of $13.99 million, as previously reported by the Wall Street Journal. The purchase date was notably bittersweet, coinciding with the death of Pitt's mother, Jane Pitt, at age 84.

Inside the Revamped Estate

The 8,385-square-foot mansion, built in 1989 and located within the exclusive Outpost Estates community, offers scenic views of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean. Inside, the property boasts a modern kitchen with up-to-date appliances, marble countertops, a backsplash, and a spacious central island that flows into an open living area. Architectural features include arched ceilings in some rooms, marble finishings in the bathrooms for a glamorous touch, wooden flooring, and an arched hallway leading to the living room with its fireplace.

The second level contains a large balcony overlooking the transformed backyard and pool. For outdoor living, the estate features a designated barbecue and kitchen area, alongside comfortable lounge chairs and a couch, providing ample space for relaxation and entertainment. A brick pathway leads to the home's front entrance, completing the picture of a thoroughly considered and personalised celebrity retreat.
