Zoë Kravitz and Carey Mulligan were among the celebrities who attended a series of exclusive parties in London during the recent heatwave. The highlight was Jessica McCormack's Summer Solstice soirée, which transformed Mount Street Gardens into "McCormack's Tavern" on one of June's hottest evenings.

Co-hosted by Kravitz and Mulligan, the event began inside McCormack's Carlos Place townhouse before guests moved to the gardens for sausage rolls, Scotch eggs, mini pies and margaritas. Attendees included Drew Barrymore, Jodie Comer, Alexa Chung, Caitríona Balfe, Poppy Delevingne, Sheila Atim and Camille Charrière. They tried their luck at Hook-a-Duck and Beat the Buzzer, where diamond prizes were on offer, all while raising money for War Child.

In south London, comedian Joanne McNally hosted a stylish summer lunch at Perola, Battersea Power Station, to celebrate the launch of Casillero del Diablo rosé. Stars like Angela Scanlon and Angellica Bell were welcomed with chilled glasses of the rosé, canapés, and a striking ice sculpture with a rosé ice luge. McNally joked: "I can’t bear anything tepid, I need my wine to taste like the Antarctic. I’d happily pop an iceberg in my rosé. During this heatwave I have momentarily taken my head out of my freezer to cut the ribbon on this delicious new rosé from Casillero del Diablo and honestly I’ve never felt more connected to a wine in my life. Long may this Casillero del Diablo rosé reign."

Premiere of 'The Westies' in Leicester Square

In Leicester Square, Hollywood A-listers attended the MGM+ premiere of the new crime drama The Westies. Stars JK Simmons, Titus Welliver, Tom Brittney, Jessica Frances Dukes and Hillary McCormack joined creators Chris Brancato and Michael Panes at the Odeon Luxe ahead of the series' debut on July 12, bringing a little Hell's Kitchen to the West End.

Edgar-Jones, who stars as Elinor Dashwood, described the film, arriving in cinemas on September 25, as "everything to me," adding that leading a new adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved novel had been "the dream" project. The film also stars George McKay, Caitríona Balfe and Fiona Shaw.

Sir Elton John and David Furnish gathered friends at the River Café to celebrate Elton John Zero, their new premium alcohol-free sparkling wine. Ruthie Rogers hosted a leisurely summer supper overlooking the Thames. Guests including Jessie Ware, Clara Amfo, Gemma Collins, Joe Locke, Damian Hurley, Kadiff Kirwan, Jacob Alon and Kristen McMenamy sipped glasses of the new Blanc de Blancs before enjoying River Café favourites like tomato risotto, roasted sea bass and lemon tart. The launch revealed that the River Café was the first restaurant to stock Elton John Zero.
