Self Esteem (Rebecca Lucy Taylor) and Talking Heads frontman David Byrne will take the stage at Cardiff Castle this weekend as part of TK Maxx Presents Depot Live's summer gig series. The series, which began in June, concludes with Jimmy Eat World on Saturday, August 15.
Event dates and support acts
Self Esteem performs on Friday, July 24, with guest acts Kae Tempest and Joshua Idehen. David Byrne performs on Sunday, July 26, with special guest Anna Calvi.
Event times
Gates open for both events at 5pm, with an expected finish around 10.30pm. Exact stage times will be shared later this week.
Road information
Castle Street will close half an hour before each event ends and reopen when the crowds disperse.
Banned items
Chairs, portable furniture, inflatables or foldable furniture are not allowed. Food and drink are not permitted, but sealed bottles of soft drinks or water under 500ml are allowed, as well as empty reusable water bottles (no glass). Free water refill stations are available. A doctor's note permits diet-specific food and drink only. Assistance dogs are allowed; notify Depot via the accessible requirements form or access@depotcardiff.com. Small bags/rucksacks are permitted, with bag searches in operation.

General admission is via the north gate at the back of the castle.
