Katie Price has confirmed she will perform at Newcastle Pride this weekend, taking the stage at Scotswood Show Bar's outdoor Showbiz Stadium on Saturday at 9pm. The model, TV star and businesswoman announced the appearance in a social media video on Tuesday, telling fans: "Oh my god, this Saturday, Scotswood bar Newcastle Pride. I am there this Saturday to perform a few tracks...live! Can't wait to see you all there."
Previous North East performances
Price last performed in the North East in summer 2024 at the Tyne Theatre, where she duetted with a fan on A Whole New World, the Disney song she famously recorded with ex-husband Peter Andre. Earlier, she appeared in an adult panto in North Shields as Queen Rat, singing songs including Whitney Houston's Queen of the Night, Steps' Deeper Shade of Blue and Kylie's Better The Devil You Know.
Line-up and tickets
Entry to the Showbiz Stadium on Saturday is by ticket only, costing £8.50. Other acts include Drag Race UK star Catrin Feelings, singer Michael T. Ogilvie, and local drag icons Janice D and Lucy Phurr. Sunday's entertainment features tributes to Steps and Vengaboys, plus Shelly Stevens, who recently performed at Bents Park in South Shields.
