TNT Sports studio chaos after Orla Chennaoui's X-rated slip

TNT Sports' studio descended into chaos as pundits struggled to contain their laughter after host Orla Chennaoui gave an X-rated answer on air.

Chennaoui, Adam Blythe and Matt Stevens were breaking down Stage 17 of the Vuelta a Espana on Wednesday afternoon, following Matthew Brennan's fifth stage win of the race, when Blythe asked Chennaoui how she would celebrate.

An accidental double entendre

"I would not be taking my hands off the handlebars," Chennaoui explained. "It would just be a big old smile." However, Blythe was not happy with the answer: "For the sake of the conversation, let's say you are taking your hands off the bars.."

Chennaoui, now laughing, said: "It would probably be a good fist, like this..." But Blythe had seemingly taken it another way: "What would your celebration be, sorry?"

Laughter takes over the broadcast

All three started to awkwardly laugh as Blythe turned away from the table to regain his composure. Chennaoui, in between her laughter, tried to throw to Robbie McEwan.

"Sorry," she said, trying to plough on as all three erupted in laughter. "I think Robbie can join us now!" However, even the Australian sprinter was laughing as he appeared on screen.

Fans react on social media

The clip was shared on social media, with one fan posting it on TikTok and joking: "When @TNTSportsCycling descends into inappropriate chaos!"

"OMG, I laughed about this for the rest of the race. It was so funny," one fan replied. While a second shared: "Well done to Robbie for talking for long enough to allow Orla to recover..."

The Vuelta concludes on Sunday, with Enric Mas, Felix Gall and Primoz Roglic locked in a three-way battle for the red jersey after Tadej Pogacar crashed out in the race lead. However, Brennan has been the breakout star of the grand tour, sprinting to five stage victories in the Spanish heat.
