Comedian Romesh Ranganathan was left mortified during the Remember Me segment on Michael McIntyre's Big Show, which returned for its ninth series on Saturday night. The segment involves a celebrity being confronted with individuals from their past emerging from a trap door.
Romesh was reunited with Sonia, an ex-girlfriend from his school days, with the caption 'snogged in year 11' displayed on screen. A stunned Romesh admitted: 'I'm not happy about this!' as Michael McIntyre teased him with clues about their past relationship.
Sonia recalled that they were in maths class together and attended the fifth year leaver's party together, where 'he went for a kiss'. Romesh explained: 'I suggested to Sonia that we go for a walk... when we're in the woods, I made my move.' He joked that they were 'going out' for about a week.
Later, Romesh was reunited with his best mate from primary school, Dylan, prompting a much happier reaction: 'Oh my God, I know who you are. Is it Dylan? Oh, my God! Mate, oh, my God!'
