Robson Green has confirmed that filming has wrapped on his upcoming crime series, The Northumbria Mysteries, as Grantchester prepares to air its final series. The actor, who has played DI Geordie Keating throughout the show's run, shared the update on Instagram, much to the delight of fans.
New series announced amid Grantchester finale
Grantchester is set to end after series 11, which has already aired in America but is yet to reach UK viewers on ITV. The show has featured notable names including James Norton and Tom Brittney, with Rishi Nair joining in 2023. Green has remained a constant presence as DI Geordie Keating.
In his Instagram post, Green wrote: "That's a WIND REEL AND PRINT (WRAP) on The Northumbria Mysteries. One of the most Joyous filming experiences of my career. What a story, what a team! Transmission TBC. A series for all the family set against the magical and jaw-dropping backdrop of Northumberland. Watch this space."
